​VAR Sales Executive

NOTE:   Positions available!  Covering various strategic territory!!!

Current Need
The VAR Sales Executive is responsible for managing the business relationship for the division of Physician Practice Solutions within A&A rainmaker SBA with a potential of  approximately 50 Value Added Resellers netting >$2M per year in software sales. By helping these partners to drive new business, manage current business and understand and sell PPS portfolio of products, the VAR Sales Executive is responsible for growing the revenue from these businesses 10-20% annually.
Location:   All 50 states U.S.  covering a pre defined territory!!!
Position Description
Drive EMR & PM sales revenue in a $2M territory across 50 VAR's maintaining a funnel for EMR opportunities at 3X Quota with an avg. deal size of $3500. 
Be the trusted advisor and key relationship manager for 50 VAR's on behalf of Rainmaker SBA guiding them to build their business, orchestrate transactions across Rainmaker SBA and ultimately own the VAR sales training & expertise.
Provide updates, education, tool access and guidance to VARS for all new product launches, pricing analysis and quote generation training VARS to fully understand product, competitors and A&A Rainmaker SBA offerings in order to enable VARs to sell our products.
Negotiate and secure contracts for our new products with VAR partners.
Work within Rainmaker SBA to align processes and build new processes as needed across the business unit to ensure VAR’s sales success and to ensure we deliver on our commitments.
Travel to VAR customers 3 days a week to better understand their businesses, help their sales staff learn hands on sales skills, etc.
Drive business thru VAR channel thru on-site support of local event such as user group meeting, local trade shows and REC relationships
Desired Skills & Experience

NOTE:  Compensation Commissioned Based  IS SET TO MEET THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OUTLINED BELOW!!!!!

Minimum Requirements
4+ years experience in selling, supporting or servicing in a reseller industry preferred.
2+ years sales experience within the IT industry- preferably Electronic Medical Record sales preferred.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Critical Skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
Experience with contract negotiations
Education

4 year degree preferred
Physical Requirements
70% overnight travel required

        Job Description

    We divide our marketing functions in a unique way that matches the  business goals and objectives. , as a EMR marketing professional, you will manage our marketing programs that promotes EMR products to physicians health-care professionals, while assisting with sales goals. You may manage vendors and external marketing agencies engaged in AA Rainmaker SBA promotions. Branding, communications and collateral development responsibilities. Development of business strategies, such as pricing, may be required. You will also have to identify and analyze competition, research new target markets and assist with events and trade-show activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    You'll need to have (or develop) an understanding of the EMR, EHR industry, as well as marketing knowledge, including techniques for successfully promoting products. Business knowledge, budgeting, strategic planning and resource allocation are also knowledge basics -marketing job candidate should possess.
    To succeed in physician/ physician practices marketing, you'll need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams. Additional qualifications include "detail oriented," "excellent planning capabilities" and having an "ability to actively listen." Solid communication skills including presentation, verbal and written abilities are a must.
